The Athlete of the Week for the week of 9/12/16 is Angela Yang who scored consecutive game-winners to help Edgemont’s 2-0 start to the season. The senior captain and center midfielder Angela Yang scored the game-winning goal in a 3-1 win over Scarsdale B and then scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Briarcliff. Both game-winners were head-ball goals off corner kicks in second half of play. Way to come through in the clutch Angela!!!
